This program covers key etiquette essentials, from making a great first impression to mastering dining etiquette and dressing for any occasion. Teens will also learn how to navigate social media, communicate online, and maintain professionalism in the workplace. Through informative classes and interactive role-playing, students will put their new skills into practice, leaving with the confidence and poise to shine in social and professional settings. Over four engaging Saturday afternoon sessions, your child will:

What Your Child Will Learn In Weeks 1 to 2

Week 1: The Basics of Good Manners

  • Learn foundational manners, such as saying "please" and "thank you

  • Understand the importance of using the correct phrases when we meet others.  Understand how kind words and phrases are the foundation of developing relationships.

  • Discover the importance of appropriate body language and facial expressions in communication.

  • Build and maintain relationships through kindness and respect.

 

Week 2: Communication Skills

  • Explore ways to show kindness and respect with behavior and mannerisms.

  • Understand the importance of active listening.

  • Learn about the art of small talk magic and how it can become the foundation for creating significant and lasting friendships.

  • Develop effective communication techniques, including making eye contact, speaking clearly, and using a polite tone.

  • Navigate the digital world with grace, social media responsibility, and handling cyberbullying.

  • Practice expressing thoughts assertively and handling conflicts calmly and respectfully.

  • Dating as a responsible and respectful teenager.

We offer private one-on-one coaching sessions, small group classes & School based curriculums.

What Your Child Will Learn In weeks 3 to 4

Week 3: Personal Appearance

  • Learn how to dress appropriately for various occasions and maintain clothing and belongings.

  • Learn the importance of investing in good affordable clothes that can be interchangeable and still give you a winning edge.

  • Focus on grooming, dental care, healthy habits, and managing personal situations like body odor or bad breath with sensitivity

 
Week 4: Table Manners - This class is mixed ages

  • How to Behave when dining with friends or family – Demonstrating how easy and enjoyable it is to dine with ease and confidence once you understand what is acceptable or unacceptable when dining with others.

  • Setting a table for special occasions – Learn what goes where and who uses which glass and which plate.

  • Using Utensils Correctly – Introducing them to the correct handling procedure of cutlery, how to hold and use their utensils, and how to read a table setting with confidence.

  • Napkin Use and Basic Table Manners – Showing them how to place their napkin in their lap, use it to wipe their mouth, and avoid messy eating habits.

  • Polite Eating Habits – Encouraging chewing with their mouth closed, not talking with food in their mouth, and waiting for everyone to be served before eating.

  • Saying "Please" and "Thank You" – Reinforce polite expressions when asking for food, thanking the host, and knowing when to say "Excuse me."

To celebrate this learning experience, a Certificate of Achievement is awarded upon completion of the four workshop sessions. Course notes are presented as a PDF. There are no excuses for losing a booklet!

 

Date: From the first Saturday of every month
Duration: 90 minutes each Saturday from 1:00 pm to 2:30  pm.  The fourth and final class, is from 11:00 am  to 1:00 pm
